2024 Biennial Convention

Biennially in even-numbered years, the Idaho Federation of Republican Women, it’s State Officers, Standing Chairwomen, and club Presidents with their delegates come together for an exciting event, the election of new IFRW leadership! Our state leadership team includes the positions of president, 1st vice president, 2nd vice president, secretary, treasurer, congressional district 1 director, and congressional district 2 director. Nominees commit to serving a two-year term, only the treasurer and congressional district directors have the opportunity to serve consecutive terms.

We invite all members in good standing from affiliated clubs and members at large to join us for this pivotal and engaging event. Be a part of shaping our future!

Tentative Schedule

1. Welcome Reception- Sept 12, Thursday 6:30 pm. Canyon County Republican Women are hosting a Welcome Reception at Koenig Winery with delicious hors d’oeuvres and a no-host bar. Located at 20928 Grape Lane, Caldwell. Cost $5. Convention registration is not required to attend this event.
2. Sept 13-14 -Convention Days 1 & 2. Convention registration includes daytime activities on Friday and Saturday, including training and Saturday's election.The Convention will be held at the College of Idaho Library —free parking in the Jewett Bldg parking lot with a free handicap shuttle. Friday morning IFRW will conduct its regular business meeting. After lunch the Leadership Institute will provide an afternoon of training on various topics. Saturday morning, we will re-assemble at the College of Idaho to conduct the IFRW Biennial Election. Please note, the early bird pricing has ended. Cost to attend is $65.
3. Friday Lunch-  PLEASE NOTE, the limit of 70 tickets at $5  has been reached. The ticket price for the Friday lunch is now $25.
4. Tribute to Women and IFRW 80th Anniversary Gala- Sept 13, Friday at 6:30 pm. Join us as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of IFRW and our Biennial Tribute to Women Banquet & Gala held at The Venue at Wood Farms located at 18659 Houk Rd., Caldwell, ID 83607. This will be a fun evening to celebrate the countless hours our members spend supporting Republican causes across the state. Online auction items will be on display and ready for the lucky winners to take home. Thanks to some very generous donors we will have an in-person silent auction of three to five items at the Gala that are not available online. So, bring your appetite, a date, and your party dress! Everyone is invited to attend as we pay tribute to our outstanding Republican Women. Please note, the early bird pricing has now ended. Cost to attend is $80. Convention registration is not required to attend this event.
